Hi everyone, I’ve got some great news to share today. Salesmsg now has an MCP server, giving you the ability to work more efficiently in Salesmsg using your favorite AI tools, and giving your AI agents the ability to directly communicate with your customers. So, let’s see how it works.
First, let’s connect Salesmsg to your favorite AI assistants. In ChatGPT, head to Plugins, search for Salesmsg, and connect your account. For Claude, open the connector settings, search for Salesmsg, and click Connect. You’ll be redirected to Salesmsg to authorize access. Once approved, your AI assistant is ready to work with your Salesmsg account. Now, let’s explore a few things you can do.
Let’s say you manage a busy sales inbox, and you have several unread conversations waiting for a response. Instead of opening every conversation individually, we’ll ask Claude to pull all unread conversations from our sales inbox, summarize each one, and suggest an appropriate response. Claude reviews the conversations and gives us a breakdown of what each customer needs, along with a suggested response. We can quickly review the suggested responses and make adjustments if needed. And once we’re happy, we can ask Claude to send the replies to all five contacts at once.
And back in Salesmsg, we can see the messages have been sent to the corresponding conversations. This is a great way to catch up on busy inboxes without having to go through every message one by one.
Next, let’s use Claude to create a Salesmsg broadcast. Imagine we just hosted a webinar and want to follow up with everyone who attended. Instead of manually creating the broadcast, we can simply tell Claude to send a message to contacts tagged with “webinar leads”. We’ll provide the message, including a link to the webinar slides and an invitation to book a demo. Claude takes care of setting up the broadcast with the right audience and message. And when we head back to Salesmsg, we can see the newly created broadcast, ready to manage from the Broadcasts dashboard. It’s a simple way to turn natural language instructions into outreach to an entire group of contacts.
And finally, one of the most powerful use cases is using AI to analyze your Salesmsg data. For example, let’s ask Claude to visualize our calling and texting activity over the last month. Claude pulls the relevant data from Salesmsg and turns it into charts and a breakdown of our communication activity. We can see how our texting and calling volumes compare, along with engagement trends over time.
And we can take the analysis even further. For example, we can ask Claude to break down texting activity by team member, compare inbound and outbound messages, and identify our most active reps. Instead of manually exporting data and building reports, we can simply ask questions and get actionable insights from our Salesmsg data.
What I showed you today is just a small subset of what’s possible with the Salesmsg MCP server. You’ve got more tools at your disposal, and much more to come. And we’re very much looking forward to seeing what you build with it. Thanks for watching!
