More Control, More Insights: September Updates Are Live

This month’s Salesmsg updates bring powerful improvements to boost productivity and collaboration. Agencies can now earn 15% affiliate commissions for the first year of client spending. Smart Mentions make it easy to tag teammates or entire inboxes right from the chat window. Blocking unwanted contacts now covers both calls and texts, saving teams from spam interruptions. Bulk inbox creation speeds up setup by allowing multiple inboxes to be created at once. Finally, HubSpot Workflows now include click tracking, giving you deeper insights into engagement and performance.

Hi everyone. I'm back with the monthly product update with some very great features and improvements across the app. So, let's review them together.

First up, if you're an agency recommending Salesmsg to your clients, you can now earn ongoing affiliate commissions of 15% revenue share on what your client spends for the first year. Just add your affiliate link when you create a new client from the client's dashboard and you're all set.

Collaboration just got a lot easier with Smart Mentions. Simply type the @ sign in the chat window and you'll instantly see a list of teammates you can tag. Or you can even select Inbox to notify everyone at once. When you do this, the chat window automatically switches from SMS to Note, and it's the fastest way to loop in teammates and keep the conversation flowing.

Next, blocking unwanted contacts is now more comprehensive. Before, blocking only stopped messages, but now, if you block a contact, you'll stop receiving both calls and texts. This means your team won't waste time dealing with spam callers or unwanted interruptions.

If you've got a batch of unassigned numbers, creating inboxes one by one can be time-consuming. With our new bulk inbox creation feature, you can select multiple numbers and spin up inboxes for each one of them in one go. Just choose "new inbox per number," give each inbox a name, assign an owner from your team, and you're ready to roll.

And finally, the HubSpot Workflows dashboard keeps getting better. We've added click tracking, so now you can see exactly how many contacts clicked on the links you included in your messages. This gives you more insight into how your workflows are performing and helps you measure engagement.
