In this video, we’ll show you what’s new in Salesmsg for May 2025. You can now easily drop your Calendly link into any message, let your Agent automatically follow up when someone goes silent, and track the exact path a caller takes through your IVR system. Plus, agents can now skip questions when they already have the contact’s info, and calls can be routed directly to the right team member - like the contact owner or conversation assignee. These updates are all about saving time, improving conversations, and helping your team work smarter.

Hi everyone, we're back with another monthly product update packed with great improvements to help you book more meetings, automate your follow-ups, and streamline your calling workflows. So, let's get right into it.

First up, the new Calendly integration makes it easy for you to share your meeting links right from Salesmsg. Once you connect your account, all your Calendly links are available inside the chat interface for quick access - no more copying and pasting. You can even shorten the URLs to save message credits.

AI agents just got a major upgrade.
First, they now follow up on your behalf. In the fallback section, just set a follow-up window - like 7 days - and choose between subtle, steady, and assertive depending on how frequently you want the agent to follow up. The agent will follow up with unresponsive leads automatically, saving you time.

Second, we've improved data collection. AI agents can now access existing contact properties by checking the option to skip questions if data is already known. The agent will avoid asking for information you already have, keeping conversations short and smooth.

If you're using IVR and already have your phone tree set up, you will now see exactly which option a caller selected - right in the conversation timeline. This gives your team context about the caller's intent, helping them respond more effectively.

And last but not least, we've added two new options for call distribution: Contact Owner and Conversation Assignee. These help ensure callers reach the right team member - especially if they're already in an active conversation or have a designated point of contact.
