Hi everyone. We’ve released some great improvements to the Salesmsg HubSpot integration this past quarter, so let’s take a look at what’s new.
First up, a major upgrade for AI agents - specifically for HubSpot users. Previously, AI agents could collect information from leads and customers through conversations. Now, you can go one step further by mapping the collected data directly into HubSpot properties using merge fields. For example, if you need to capture budget and start date during lead qualification, your AI agent can ask those questions and automatically save the answers straight into HubSpot. No manual work required.
The Send SMS action in HubSpot workflows is one of the most-used Salesmsg features, and now it’s even better. If your message includes a URL, simply check Shorten URLs before sending. Salesmsg will automatically detect and shorten any links in your message, helping you save credits and improve delivery rates.
A short while ago, we introduced native calling inside HubSpot. Now, we’ve added an improvement to make call tracking and reporting easier. After each call, reps will see a call outcome dropdown. By default, it’s set to auto-detect call outcome, but reps can manually select a more specific option, including any custom call outcomes your team has set up.
Next, we added several new Salesmsg contact properties in HubSpot to power smart automations, including last message received body, date, and type. With these properties, you can build lists and workflows triggered by specific keywords or message activity from your customers.
Finally, a small but handy improvement: you can now reconnect your HubSpot integration without disconnecting it first. Just head to the Salesmsg integration settings, click the gear icon, and select Reconnect. That way, you can refresh your connection and access the latest updates.
That’s it for this quick update. Stay tuned for more great improvements in the new year, and thanks for watching.
