Hello Salesmsg, it's me, Anton from Product marketing and today I would like to do a series of videos about broadcasting. In this video I'll tell you what is broadcasting and how you create a simple text broadcast, send it out and what kind of information you can get after you send it. Right now we are in our conversation window, and if we go into broadcasts, you can see some of the broadcasts that I have previously sent. To create a new one, click Create Broadcast button, and here you are inside our broadcast creation interface. So let's go from top to bottom. You have your broadcast name, which would be Demo broadcast in this case. We can do the message or we can use our save replies, use merge fields, upload files from the media library, we can put emojis and we can do short URL. Then, we choose where we send this from. And in my case I have one inbox. Here you can choose contacts. You can choose them by tags, segments or by contacts in particular but what I would do is I'll go into the New filter and I would choose everyone who has a first name filled and I have eight contacts which match these criteria. So here I am. And if you look down here, you will see a window which will tell you the general sending time of the broadcast. And this will vary depending on the number of contacts you're sending to. Whether or not you're using merge fields, whether or not you're using merge fields from integrations or you're using HubSpot lists. And also this depends on the number you're ascending from. So depending on these variables you will see different times here and this is a guideline so you understand how long it could take. Usually it takes less. So here I am all set, I don't need to do anything else, I can just click Send Broadcast and it's going to send it now. Here is the broadcast we have just sent and let me show you on the previous broadcast that I used already what kind of information we can get in statistics. So if we go into here we can see that there is one reply and if we press the reply we can see that Salesmsg team messaged me back. What else can we see if we go into broadcast, with a link can see there is one click on the broadcast but who clicked? If I open the clicked statistics I can see that it was my second number and I clicked the link myself.
So we can see that our broadcast has finished and the statistics about total delivered and all other things will be updated after a couple of minutes here. So this is not real time but it's updated every couple of minutes. Thank you very much and see you in the next videos in the series. Bye.
