A Recap of 2021, our Best Year yet, and a Sneak Peek at 2022!


In this video, Chris Brisson, CEO and Co-Founder of Salesmsg, reflects on the accomplishments of Salesmsg in 2021 and previews the features and integrations planned for 2022. Salesmsg launched 54 new features and made 481 improvements, including smart broadcasts, group messaging, web-to-chat, and landline text enablement. They also introduced calling capabilities and formed deeper relationships with partners like HubSpot, Aircall, and ActiveCampaign. In 2022, Salesmsg plans to add features like voicemail, text-to-join keywords, smart inboxes, HubSpot ticket integration, exporting conversations, and workflows, as well as integrations with Twilio, Slack, Intercom, Salesforce, and Zoho. Chris invites customers to provide feedback on the Salesmsg site to help shape the product's future.

Hey, how's it going? Chris Person, CEO and cofounder of Sales Message. And, whoa, where did 2021 go? Uh, here we are in 2022. And you know, as I look back on all the cool stuff we launched in 2021, I'm, um, amazed. I'm shocked. We send over 66 million messages, 20, uh, 1 million conversations, 2030, 1 million contacts have gone through the platform. So it's been a crazy year. We pushed out so much cool stuff, uh, so many great features that you may know, you may not know, but we're going to review it all. We're going to go through it. We're going to review all that stuff on what we did this past year. Plus you'll get to see what we're up to in 2022 and how we can make Sales Message better for you. So let's get to it. In many ways, 2021 was a challenging year. But with the help of our customers, we met these challenges head on. To make it most productive year we ever had, we have released 54 new features, 481 improvements, smart broadcasts, group messaging, web to chat, and landline text enablement, just to name a few. We also completely revamped air poll and active campaign integration. Sales Message was on the forefront of, uh, A 2ft tend to LP texting compliance, industrywide change, making it completely seamless to our customers in 2021. Besides traditional texting, we introduced calling capabilities, delivering over 200,000 phone calls for over 120,000 total hours. And so, in 2021, we had a fantastic group of partners that we created deeper, more meaningful relationships with for you, including HubSpot, Aircall, Dub.com, Pipedrive, Zapier, ActiveCampaign, Myrapost, Teamup.com, Chili, Piper, Sticky, IO, Thinkific, lemlist, Woodpecker, and I'm sure there's a couple of other ones out there. And so if you're using any of those apps, we're looking forward to helping you get more out of both Sales Message and our partners apps in 2022. All right, so we added some really cool features. Uh, we made some amazing new partnerships, but, um, we realized we can't do it by ourselves. And so we added some great team players, uh, and team members to our team this past year. Everything from customer support to customer success, account executives. Uh, our development team is amazing. Always making great, great product. And so we're continuing to invest in the product, in people to, uh, really build this next generation platform that, uh, you all love. All right, so we've got an amazing list of new features we plan on building in 2022. And I'm going to go quick here because I don't want to make this video too long, but here's what we got coming up. So, Voicemail right, adding more to the calling platform, text to join Keywords, you can build a list, have people text in a keyword. You can search conversation history. This is a huge one. Smart inboxes having multiple numbers on an inbox versus just one. We'll have HubSpot tickets. Integration. We're going to have exporting conversations. Same way you can export contacts, you can export conversations and workflows, right. This is the highly most requested feature we're going to be building workflows with salesmessage user permissions roles, custom roles, giving you the ability to create these, um, set of permissions for each one of your users. Reminders, right? If you're doing appointment reminders or service reminders, we'll have this inside of Sales Message reviews. How about getting more reviews on Google or Yelp or Facebook? We'll have that built in sales message and a lot of stuff around Compliance, stir Shaken, which is, hey, I don't want my phone calls to show up as spam. Likely we'll get you compliant with that and a ton more features. Let's talk about some integrations. We've got Twilio that's coming up. Um, slack intercom drift. The Big boy salesforce. Super excited to build this out. This is the most requested integration. Uh, and last but not least, Zoho. Here's the deal, though. You got to tell us what you want us to build.
