Hi everyone. We've refreshed the look and feel of the inbox settings and Salesmsg. In this video, I'll walk you through the new UI and give you a quick refresher on some of the powerful features available to help you optimize your inboxes for your team.
First up, when you navigate to inboxes from settings, you'll see a full list of all your inboxes along with the number of members in each. From here, you can create an inbox in just a few clicks.
When it comes to adding numbers to an inbox, you've got plenty of options. You can add numbers from your existing pool of Salesmsg numbers, buy new local or toll-free numbers, bring a number from another app like Aircall if you want to use Salesmsg for texting, or text-enable your landline and surface all the messages you may already be receiving.
For existing inboxes, you have a lot of flexibility to customize them to fit your workflow. You can easily add or remove members, whether that's a subset of your team or everyone. You can also manage inbox numbers just as easily. If your inbox currently has a single number, you can add more and turn it into a smart inbox.
Within the inbox settings, you’ll find a suite of powerful features designed to help your team stay organized and responsive. For example, color coding visually highlights conversations based on how long they’ve been waiting for a reply, giving you a clear indicator to help improve response times and SLAs.
You can also configure conversation assignment, choosing between manual assignment, round-robin, or CRM-based assignment methods to ensure conversations always reach the right team member. Business hours can be enabled and customized as well, with automatic replies sent when messages come in outside of your team’s availability.
And lastly, a powerful recent addition to Salesmsg inboxes: you can now enable an AI agent to handle conversations on your behalf. Simply select one of your agents and you’ve got an extra team member helping you manage conversations. Of course, you can pause, resume, or jump in at any time.
That’s it for this video. Thanks for watching, and I’ll see you on the next one.
