Hi everyone. In the last quarter, we’ve released a number of features and improvements for the Salesforce integration to make it even better. Let’s take a look at what’s new.
First up, we’ve made major improvements to how contacts are created and updated between Salesforce and Salesmsg. You can now create custom flow actions to create or update Salesmsg contacts directly in Salesforce. From the Salesmsg app, click on the Salesmsg create or update contact actions. Select New and define exactly what you want the action to do. You can map specific fields like name and phone number, or keep it simple and use the action to apply tags to contacts.
Once your action is set up, you can drop it into any Salesforce flow to automatically create new contacts in Salesmsg or enrich existing ones with data from Salesforce.
You can also keep contacts synced by default by setting up field mapping. Inside Salesmsg, head to your Salesforce settings page and open the field mapping section. From there, choose which fields should stay in sync between both systems. Once configured, any changes to those fields will automatically update across both platforms.
We’ve also expanded what you can do with Salesforce flows when it comes to campaigns. You can now create a custom Salesmsg action to enroll contacts or leads into a Salesmsg campaign. Simply name the action, select the campaign, and use it inside any Salesforce flow to automatically enroll contacts based on your criteria.
That’s all for this quick video. Thanks for watching, and I’ll see you in the next one.
