Hi everyone. Salesmsg AI calling agents just got a lot more powerful with the addition of inline prompt actions.
So, let's review this new addition together.
Configuring how your agents behave is now easier and much more flexible because you can embed actions directly into the prompt itself. Simply tap forward slash, choose an action, and specify exactly when you want the action to be used. So, let's take a look at some of the things that you can do with this new addition.
First, your agent can add or remove tags based on what it learns during the conversation. For example, if a customer says they're ready to make a purchase today or mention a project budget above a certain threshold, you can have the agent automatically apply a hot lead tag. You can use this tag to create a smart view for your hottest leads, giving your team quick access to those conversations from the conversations page.
All AI calls are already transcribed and summarized, but sometimes there's a specific piece of information you want clearly captured for your team. With inline actions, you can tell your agent exactly when to create a note and even have the AI draft that content based on what the customer says. For example, if you're on a roofing business, you could instruct the agent to ask about the customer's project and automatically add a note summarizing the work they're looking to have done. Now your team has the important detail clearly captured without having to dig through the entire transcript.
One of the handiest inline actions for calling agents is the ability to send a text message during or after the call. And for messages sent during the call, you can specify exactly what should trigger them. For example, if a customer asks to see your pricing, the agent can immediately send a text message with a link to your pricing page. It's a simple way to get useful information into the customer's hands right when they need it.
Lastly, not every call should be handled entirely by AI and that's where hand off to human comes in. Right in the prompt, you can define the situations where the agent should transfer the call. For example, if a customer becomes unhappy or frustrated or asks a detailed question that goes beyond your general FAQ, the agent can hand the call over to your team. When that happens, you can also notify your team so that they know when a call was transferred and why, helping them pick up with the right context. That's it for this video.
Thanks for watching and we'll see you in the next one.
