How it Works

The idea is as new leads come from your Facebook Lead ads and that you are collecting Name, Email, and Phone Number you can automate an initial text message to instantly engage with the lead.

Step 1: Set Up Your Facebook Lead Ads

The first step is to create your Facebook Lead Ad and be sure to ask for the Phone Number so you can pass this to Zapier and Salesmsg.

Step 2: Create Your Zap

First, connect your Facebook Lead Ad as the Trigger event in Zapier. We created this link so you can instantly create this Zap template.

Once you connect your Facebook Lead Ads form then create an instant text message using your Salesmsg number.

Step 3: Format the First Name

If you want to include the First Name in the SMS text message like "Hey {FirstName}, you'll need to create a Formatter Zap to parse out the First Name from the Full Name that Facebook sends over.

Step 4: Send Your Salesmsg Text Message

After a lead fills out that Facebook Lead Ads form we want to send them an outbound SMS from Salesmsg.

In this example, you'll see that we insert the Formatter First Name so it reads as "Hey Mike, it's Chris at Salesmsg..."

Step 5: Turn On The Zap

Once you've tested the Zap, then turn it on and start engaging with your leads in real-time over SMS. That's really all there is to it.
