Q3 spotlight: The Salesforce features Salesmsg already gives you

From an embedded texting widget to automatic activity logging and two-way contact sync, here's everything Salesmsg already does inside Salesforce.

Summary

This video walks through the Salesmsg–Salesforce integration, showing how reps can text and call directly from Salesforce records using the Salesmsg widget, with conversations automatically logged and contact data kept in sync between both platforms. It also covers mass texting and ringless voicemail features that let teams reach large groups of contacts at scale, all without ever leaving Salesforce.

Hi everyone! If you want a simple yet powerful texting and calling app for Salesforce that your team can use to text and call natively from within Salesforce, then this video is for you.

First up, the Salesmsg widget can be added to virtually any Salesforce object, so your team can communicate from wherever they already work. In this example, we're working from a lead record. The widget automatically brings the lead's phone number and Salesmsg conversation history, so we can quickly see previous messages and send a new text right from the record. Once the message is sent, the conversation updates in the widget, so your reps can communicate without jumping between Salesforce and Salesmsg.

Every text and call can be automatically logged back to the Salesforce record. Right from the activity timeline, your team can see inbound and outbound communication that happens through Salesmsg, and expand each activity for more detail. That means your Salesforce records stay up to date automatically, without reps having to manually document every conversation.

You can also keep your contact data synchronized between Salesforce and Salesmsg from your Salesforce integration settings. Simply enable the contact syncing options you want. Now, when contact information changes in Salesforce, it can update in Salesmsg. And when it changes in Salesmsg, it can sync back to Salesforce. So, both platforms stay aligned without your team having to update the same contact twice.

And, in addition to one-on-one conversational texting, you can also mass text directly from Salesforce. Start with a Salesforce list, select the contacts you want to reach, and choose the Salesmsg Mass SMS action. From there, compose your message and send it to the entire group in one go. You can do this with ringless voicemail too, giving your team another way to reach a large audience without contacting people one at a time.

And that's just a glimpse of what you can do with the Salesmsg integration for Salesforce. Text, call, keep your data in sync, and reach your customers at scale — all without leaving Salesforce.
