When you enable HIPAA compliance on your Salesmsg account, every message, note, call recording, and attachment is automatically encrypted end to end. On top of that, enhanced security controls are automatically applied, such as mandatory two-factor authentication for every user, automatic logouts for idle devices, and anonymized push notifications.
And finally, comprehensive audit logs ensure you're always ready for a review with a complete trail of who touched patient data and when.
To enable HIPAA compliance for your account, request it under the security section of your organization settings in the app. Once our team activates it, your account will be HIPAA compliant and a full set of enhanced security features will be unlocked. That includes automatic two-factor authentication for every member of your team, the ability to purge protected health data up to 6 years, and on demand access to audit logs.
For audit logs, you can choose a specific time frame or request all time history, export logs for all users or specific ones, and select exactly which events to include like sent and received messages.
