Hi everyone. We've just released some new actions and improvements for Salesmsg workflows to make them even more powerful. So, let's review those updates together.
First up, we've added a webhook action that lets you automatically send data from Salesmsg to external systems. You have two options for sending the data: a POST webhook which sends the full contact record including all standard and custom Salesmsg fields, or you can use a GET webhook where specific information is appended directly to the receiving URL. This makes it easy to connect Salesmsg workflows with other tools in your tech stack and keep your data in sync automatically.
We've also added an Update Contact Field action which allows you to update any Salesmsg contact field automatically. For example, you could update a contact's lead status to "Request a Demo" based on a response they gave during a conversation.
And finally, we added an Add Contact Note action. This can be used as part of your automated outreach. For example, leaving a note when a contact completes a workflow step or to add notes in bulk to a list of contacts, helping your team keep track of important context.
In addition to trigger-based enrollment, you now have another way to enroll contacts in workflows. From the contacts page, simply select one or more contacts, click the three dots menu, and choose Enroll in Workflow. You'll be able to pick from your active workflows and decide whether to check the workflow's enrollment criteria or skip it and enroll the contacts right away. This gives you more flexibility when managing workflows manually.
Lastly, you can now edit live workflows without pausing them. Simply make the updates you need and hit Publish, and the changes will go live right away, making it much easier to improve and optimize workflows without interrupting them. We will continue to make improvements to Salesmsg workflows. Let us know what you want us to add next, and thanks for watching.
