Set Smart Sending Windows with Quiet Hours

Define when messages and calls can be sent, pause outreach during off-hours, and automatically resume communication at the right time.

Summary

Learn how Quiet Hours in Salesmsg help you reach customers at the right time by automatically detecting each recipient’s local time and letting you set allowed sending windows for messages and calls. If you try to contact someone outside those hours, Salesmsg prompts you to send immediately or schedule for the next allowed time. Quiet Hours also apply to broadcasts and automated outreach, while Power Dialer automatically pauses when a contact is outside permitted hours - helping you stay compliant and respectful of your customers’ time.

Hi everyone!

In today's video, I want to walk you through a very important feature that helps you make sure your messages and calls go out at the right time - keeping you compliant and meeting your customers’ expectations.

Say hello to Quiet Hours.

First, Salesmsg will now automatically calculate your recipient's local time and display it directly in the messaging interface, so you're never guessing what time it is for them.

From there, you can set up Quiet Hours. Just click “Set Up Quiet Hours,” enable the feature, and define your sending window by choosing a start time and a cutoff time for messages and calls. You also have the option to block weekends entirely.

Once Quiet Hours are set, if you try to send a message outside the allowed hours, you'll see a confirmation popup. From there, you can either send the message immediately or schedule it for the next allowed time with one click.

So, if you're working late or you're in a different time zone, you can still write and schedule your replies without waiting.

The same confirmation will appear if you try to make an outbound call outside of those hours.

Quiet Hours also work seamlessly with automated outreach for broadcasts. They automatically apply when you create a broadcast, and you can get more granular by defining a specific delivery window within those hours.

For example, if you're sending a webinar reminder on the day of the event, you might want messages to stop one hour before the webinar begins.

On the other hand, with the Power Dialer, you can start dialing immediately without worrying about time zones. If it's too early or too late for a contact, the dialer will automatically pause and give you the option to either skip the contact or place the call anyway.

And that's Quiet Hours - another way Salesmsg helps you reach your customers at the right time without extra work.

Thanks for watching!
