Hi everyone, we've got another round of updates covering automation, personalization, compliance, and much more. So let's take a look together.
We recently introduced some great features under the Care pillar of Salesmsg, like surveys to measure NPS and reviews to help you grow your business through customer feedback. Now, you can actually act on that feedback by using those scores to trigger follow-up automations. For example, use the last NPS score to identify your promoters and send them a review request or a referral link. Similarly, you can use the last review score to follow up with customers who left a lower rating, understand what went wrong, and give your team a chance to make things right.
Next up, a big improvement to short URLs. You can now personalize the destination URL for every contact using merge fields, while keeping all of your short link tracking and analytics. For example, let's say you're sending customers to a special offer landing page — you can include their first name in the destination URL, so each person lands on a page personalized specifically for them. Salesmsg handles that automatically for every recipient, even when you're sending to thousands of contacts.
AI agents can now do a better job of recognizing when someone wants to stop receiving messages. Instead of relying on keywords like "stop," the agent can understand phrases like "stop texting me" or "I'm not interested." When that happens, Salesmsg can apply a soft opt-out and log that activity. This helps make compliance more automatic, without requiring your team to manually manage every opt-out request.
Next up, we've added more flexibility to Smart Call Flows. When routing an incoming call, you can now send it based on the Salesmsg contact owner or conversation assignee, or use HubSpot ownership — like the contact owner, deal owner, or even a custom ownership field. We've also expanded the options available in your IVR menus. You can keep using single digits for standard menu choices, then use double digits as direct extensions, giving larger teams a much cleaner way to route callers to the right person or department.
And finally, you now have more control over who gets enrolled in your broadcasts, campaigns, and AI agents. Alongside your inclusion filters, you'll see a new Exclude tab, so you can start with a broad audience, then easily remove contacts who shouldn't receive your message — for example, anyone with an invalid number or landline that can't receive texts, or any other group you want to filter out. This gives you a faster way to fine-tune your audience and make sure your messages only go to the contacts you actually want to reach.
And that's it for this monthly update. Thanks for watching, and I'll see you next month.
