Hi everyone. If you're using Salesmsg with HubSpot, you may know that we invest a lot of time to build the best texting and calling experience right from HubSpot. Today, I’d like to share with you a feature that makes that experience even more seamless.
You might already be using the Salesmsg widget inside HubSpot. The widget is designed to give you full texting and calling functionality. But what if all you want is just to send a quick text? If that's you, then say hello to App Cards.
To enable them, just click Enable Salesmsg App Card and it will take you right to the Salesmsg settings page in HubSpot. From there, you can turn them on for both the Contact Preview and the Contact Card panels.
Once enabled, you will see a new Send SMS action in the right-hand panel of the contact record. To start, pick a Salesmsg inbox to send from. The contact number will be automatically populated, but if there are multiple phone numbers on the record, you can choose which one to send to. From there, just type your message and hit send — that’s it.
If you want to see the full message thread, just click View Conversation to jump into the full conversation history.
For those of you who prefer working from the contact list view, simply click Preview on any contact and the App Card will be there too once enabled — ready for a quick message without switching tabs.
