Hi everyone! Do you include links in your messages and wonder which ones drive the most engagement? If so, say hello to the new Click Tracking analytics dashboard.
URL shortening has been one of the most popular Salesmsg features for years. You can shorten links directly from the messaging interface for one-on-one conversations, or automatically shorten URLs in bulk campaigns using integrations like HubSpot. But there’s a question: how do you know how many customers are actually clicking on your links, and which messages are performing best? That’s where the new click tracking dashboards come in.
First, head over to Analytics, and in the new Click Tracking section, select Overview. Here you’ll find a detailed breakdown of every shortened link you’ve ever sent. You can see how many messages were sent, total clicks, unique clicks, click-through rates, and even the cost per click. You can also search for specific URLs or filter by source to quickly find the links you’re interested in. It’s an easy way to identify your best-performing links and understand how customers are engaging with your messages.
If you want to take a closer look at a specific link, simply click on any URL to open its detailed analytics. Here you’ll see how that link is performing, with insights that go beyond the numbers. You can see where the clicks are coming from, along with a breakdown by country and by device. Scroll down to explore usage statistics by source, or switch to the Contacts tab to see exactly who clicked on the link.
Next, let’s head over to the Sources dashboard. Instead of looking at individual links, this dashboard aggregates your click tracking analytics by where your messages came from. For example, let’s say you’ve sent several broadcasts recently and want to know which one performed best. Here, you can compare each broadcast side by side, looking at total clicks, unique clicks, and click-through rates. You can adjust your date range and filter by source, whether that’s a broadcast, a workflow, an AI agent, or any other Salesmsg integration. Now you can see what’s working, compare campaigns, and make smarter decisions about your messaging strategy.
That’s all for this new feature. Give it a try today, and as always, thanks for watching!
